There is nothing cozier than a fireplace on a cool beach night. We finished this one in a tabby shell stucco with a pecky cypress mantle taking cues from the beach just steps away.

Gas fireplaces provide all the things we love about a wood burning fire, but in a much more convenient package.

It sounds like you've created a beautiful and cozy atmosphere in your home with the addition of a fireplace. A fireplace can be a wonderful focal point in any room, and can provide both warmth and ambiance.

The use of tabby shell stucco and a pecky cypress mantle is a great way to tie in the coastal aesthetic of your home with the fireplace's design. The natural, rustic textures of the materials you've chosen can help to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that complements the beachy surroundings just steps away.

It's also worth noting that fireplaces require proper maintenance to ensure their safety and functionality. Regular inspections and cleanings by a professional chimney sweep can help prevent hazards like chimney fires and carbon monoxide poisoning. By taking care of your fireplace, you can continue to enjoy cozy beach nights for years to come.

A fireplace is good on cold nights because it provides warmth and creates a cozy atmosphere.

A fireplace on a cool beach night brings together the best of two worlds—coziness and the serene beauty of the beach. The choice to finish it in tabby shell stucco perfectly captures the coastal essence, with its sandy texture and light hues reminiscent of the nearby shoreline. The pecky cypress mantle adds a touch of natural elegance, mirroring the weathered and rustic look of driftwood found along the beach. The combination of the crackling fire and the gentle sound of the waves creates a soothing symphony that envelops you in comfort and tranquility. Whether you're roasting marshmallows, sharing stories, or simply enjoying the warmth and ambiance, this fireplace serves as a gathering place where cherished moments are created against the backdrop of the cool beach night.
