House- Park Row in Watercolor

Hands down, one of our favorite projects to date is this incedible home on Park Row in Watercolor. Throughout the house, we used our signature look but with a decidedly contemporary twist. Open the front door and you see our custom cypress finish applied to a curved entry wall. It sets the mood for the entire home. The kitchen is a mix of dark pecky cypress cabinets, built on site, juxtaposed with large, modern, stainless and glass appliances, including a striking tower wine refrigerator. In fact, there are three bar areas on the main floor. This house is built for entertaining. It was designed with an open floor plan, tabby shell stucco fireplace, large entertaining porch, a master retreat on the top floor with a fabulous den and views of Western Lake. There are some pretty spectacular bathrooms as well. The pine tongue in groove walls are finished with a pearl wash that makes the rooms into little jewel boxes. Under cabinet lighting and contemporary fixtures, with Carrera Marble creates a retreat unto itself. Not to mention, it is only steps from the Watercolor Beach Club. We couldn't be more pleased with the finished project. It is truly a spectacular home.

Looking for the perfect complement to a rustic chic interior? We love to use mercury glass lighting. They provide a great juxtaposition to coastal driftwood inspired design. Add a pop of shine and polish to your home with one of these striking mercury glass fixtures.

Take a tour of our recent cottage in Old Seagrove Beach. With great curb appeal and full of charm, we finished it with Carrera Marble bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, a fresh, summer palette and quaint cottage details. It's a great family retreat just steps from the beach.

    Cynthia Rice
Old Seagrove Homes was created out of a chance meeting one summer night on a roof deck overlooking the beach in 2007. While Alex was already running a construction company, Cynthia had studied fine arts and design. Three children and many projects later, the couple knew that what had started out as a construction company, was quickly growing into something much more. Today, Alex and Cynthia Rice work together as a design team, building inspiring homes from conception to construction and custom finishes. Thanks for following along with us!
