     Alex Rice

Alex Rice, Rice Construction

Alex Rice grew up in Louisiana. As a fourth generation contractor, Alex's love for architecture and construction was nurtured early on by his father, an accomplished builder, and his love for design by his mother who is an interior designer. Soaking in his surroundings, Alex developed a passion for cypress, beautiful materials and a deep appreciation for detail, which made him into the hands on, knowledgeable builder that he is today. After graduating from Louisiana State University with a degree in Building Science, Alex worked for the St. Joe Company of Florida and later for Carvel Development Companies. He started in estimating and eventually obtained the role of senior project manager. Today, Alex has constructed projects across the Southeast, but enjoys a primary focus along the Florida Beaches of Highway 30A.
