- We worked on the pool at our 46 Azalea Street project and it is looking awesome. It sits in close to the house making a beautiful view from the kitchen, living and dining areas. It will have a coral stone surround with lots of room for chaise lounges and an outdoor dining area. One of the neat things about this outdoor space is the privacy. It's surrounded by white stucco walls, one of which will have a projector aimed at it for enjoying outdoor movies while enjoying the pool. Pretty fun, right??!
- I get a LOT of questions about my favorite white paint colors. This is my current favorite- BM Silver Satin. It has a cool, gray undertone to it that adds a bit of definition but still looks bright and sunny. Stay tuned- I'm working on a post with all of my favorites included.
- Looking for ways to entertain your kids? I love Kiwi Crates but I think my kids love them more. We've been getting them for the past year and they are so inventive and fun. The two below are projects my 10 year old built, but there are also great options for younger kids. Check them out here- KiwiCo. com

- The sunset from the roof of 46 Azalea on Monday. It's been cold here this week, but good grief, this view is amazing no matter what.
- To round out this week, I cooked a big pot of Caldo Verde (which is just a fancy way to say Portugese Green Soup) to help chase away the bug that my whole family seems to have. This is a simple meal but hands down it is my favorite warming stew. I simplified the traditional recipe and came up with my own version. Here's what to do: saute some pancetta, diced onion, diced carrot, celery and about 10 smashed cloves of garlic. Add 64 oz. chicken broth, half a small can of crushed tomatoes and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir in two bunches of chopped kale and simmer until tender. Salt and pepper to taste.
