Burnt Pine Cove- Master Bathroom

Today, I'm continuing the tour of our Burnt Pine Lane home with a look at the Master Bathroom. I wanted this space to feel like a luxurious retreat- clean and modern with a bohemian edge to the style. We started the space with Carrara marble on the floors and in the shower. To soften the space we used painted pecky cypress on the vaulted ceiling and framed the windows with breezy, white linen curtains. I chose an upholstered bench for beneath the window and a woven blue and white basket for laundry.

The Moroccan mirrors add gorgeous curvilinear shape and shine in combination with the antiqued mirrored sconces.

When designing cabinetry, we're always thinking about making a space as beautiful as it is functional. An extra storage tower between the vanities is the perfect space for towels and other bathroom necessities.

We decided to tile the entire back wall of the tub area with a chevron mosaic carrara tile to give the space texture. Lighting is recessed above the wall and is perfect for an evening soak. I found this simple but large pendant to bring the whole space together. It's soft gold finish makes the whole space elegant without feeling like it's too much.

Old Seagrove Homes was created out of a chance meeting one summer night on a roof deck overlooking the beach in 2007. While Alex was already running a construction company, Cynthia had studied fine arts and design. Three children and many projects later, the couple knew that what had started out as a construction company, was quickly growing into something much more. Today, Alex and Cynthia Rice work together as a design team, building inspiring homes from conception to construction and custom finishes. Thanks for following along with us!
