When entertaining, it's great to have a lot of different places to gather, so, we love to incorporate a bar in our homes. For this project, we kept the style consistent with the rest of the home- modern with a bohemian edge. I love lighting and a bar is the perfect place to create a relaxed mood. This pendant has a Moroccan feel and looks great with the chevron tiled back wall. We also lit the inside of the cabinets, which gives soft texture to the space. I kept the palette relaxed, with different shades of white to complement the breezy, coastal feel of the home. Pendant- Aidan Gray Sconce- Regina Andrew Rug- Dash & Albert Vase- One Kings Lane

Old Seagrove Homes was created out of a chance meeting one summer night on a roof deck overlooking the beach in 2007. While Alex was already running a construction company, Cynthia had studied fine arts and design. Three children and many projects later, the couple knew that what had started out as a construction company, was quickly growing into something much more. Today, Alex and Cynthia Rice work together as a design team, building inspiring homes from conception to construction and custom finishes. Thanks for following along with us!
